StudentHosts was conceived in late 2007 when the two founders, Sean Ridenton and Rhys Sloman- Brown- fed up with their current hosting provider for their online portfolios- decided to set out on their own. The task they set themselves was to make StudentHosts the easiest way in which Students can make an online presence on the web. However, knowing how little money and time a student has, they had to make StudentHosts both reliable, easy to use and low costing.

Rhys and Sean wanted a way in which Students could benefit from the web by creating profitable business' to give students that extra bit of income. However, being owners of several other websites themselves, they both knew how difficult a task this is, which is why StudentHosts aim to make hosting a website as easy as possible.
